A website is using one of my articles but not my links
I have noticed a website using one of my articles from ezinearticles.com but looking at my anchor text links in the article he is using some sort of link cloaking for all the links in the Bio .
So it doesn't link directly to my website it goes through his link first. Is it ok for him to do this?
Does this mean that the backlink is useless for my site? or would it still count as a proper backlink to my page from that anchor link.
It looks like this= His site.com/goto/http_www_mysite_com/ it does click through to my website.
- I thought that you can only use ezine articles if you leave the links intact.
Is it worth bothering about pointing this out to the website owner?

Hmmm,
I did a little reading on this and it seems that someone using your article with redirected links gets the credit and not you.
They can use redirects and iframes for them to get credit and you lose out.
Not sure what ezines stance on this is.
Your best bet would be to contact ezine articles and ask them.
If you get an answer, please come back here and tell us the response.
Regards
Troy

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize
they were the big things.

Thanks, Troy, yes I will keep you updated if I have any news
on this, the link just looked a bit odd, that's why asked the question.
It probably happens alot, just wondering if I should push
the point.
Maybe I should just get on and not waste to much time
on these type of things.

Happened to me too on my first articles, so I stopped and only post my own articles to my own blog. Don't know what the solution is - especially when you do all the work and someone else gets the credit...
Hope you can get it sorted out.
All the best,
Angela
