Email not working

Hello,

I have switched my website hosting over to another host, and my email stopped working.

I want to keep my email with you and host my site with a different host.

Is this possible? Please help.

Hi Alan,

You will need to set up your email on your new host. You should contact their support desk and ask how to go about doing that. I normally have to go through my cPanel, add the new address, and then set up my Gmail so that it can check that account.

Your hosting company will know a lot more about their system. This is likely a VERY common question for them.

Hi Aletta,

The new host doesn't provide email hosting.

As I stated in my original post, I'd like to keep the email hosting with you, but the site elsewhere. Is this possible?

I've been told I need to update the MX Record where I have my domain registered. Where can I find this info on your site?

Did you purchase your domain through us?
Did you buy it when you set up an AffiloJetpack website?

Can you also let us know which domain you're talking about? Our records show that you have quite a few.

Hello,

The domain is registered with GoDaddy.

I'm referring to the mbraceenergy.com domain.

Hi Alan,

To keep your mail forwarding it looks as though you should just be able to add an MX record to your GoDaddy domain, and set it to point to mail.ddmemail.com . GoDaddy should be able to help you out with this... it's like updating the nameservers, but it's for email.

This will continue to work so long as you keep your Premium membership. If you cancel your Premium membership we cancel all records associated with your domain, so your forwarding won't work anymore.
