Im new marketer so i will get straight to the problem i hope u can help. iv posted my first blog on word press made a real mess about it but working on it. The problem is i have so much info on SEOs, how to start up a blog, getting backlinks and even starting up a website my head is going to blow. After listing to the blog guru i am going to start posting regular review blogs on different topics.
If i want to design my first web site why would i need to download or buy dreamweaver or nvu? after searching around on the affilorama in the premier hosting in my DN there are files or programs like web resources inc: art web, 50 premier templates, free software also there is web builder in the files section can i use that to build my website?
thats 1 thing that confuses me.
I dont have any structure on what tasks to do next i was told to start blogging on wordpress, build web site, then start getting traffic. if thats right y do i feel so lost, confused and frustrated?
I have been through the basics of everything n even step by step guides. hopefully this makes sense to every1.
I appreciate your comments.
please have a look at my blog if im on the right page http://www.fat2burn.net

Go and invest in AffiloBlueprint by Mark Ling. Go buy it NOW, if it means, cancelling all your other expenses related to Internet marketing, DO IT.
You need to get started somewhere, and Affiloblueprint is a 12 week course, teaching you to go from nothing to a fully established money making website at the end. I guarantee that you'll make money from the website at the end, as long as you follow the blueprint exactly.
Pick the right niche, pick the right keywords, write proper articles, promote the right products.
I was just like you mate, I got ALL this free information about blogging, websites, CPA, etc etc etc... And was just like, "Yeah if I get in as much information, when the time comes, I'll make a really great website because I know so much". Well the time never came, and you know why, because I kept looking for more information as a way to procrastinate from doing any quality work. PLUS I didn't know where to begin and where to go. All my knowledge was hypothetical, and concept wise. I couldn't apply because I didn't know how to.
If you get Affiloblueprint it will cover everything you need to do from opening your browser to writing a newsletter series and even doing PPC.
I'm just suggesting if you have money, get the course and DO IT. From my expereince it was the only thing that got me going.
Good luck

I suggest that you watch the Affiliate Blog Bootcamp that comes with your Premium purchase. This takes you step by step through the process of building a blog. Issue 1 of the Premium magazine is an extremely detailed blogging guide, so reading this carefully over the next few weeks will also help.
You'll be able to access the Affiliate Blog Bootcamp through this link: http://www.affilorama.com/affiliate-blo ... mp/members
Once you've watched the blogging bootcamp, you should be pretty ready to start putting your site together :)

i agree marks blueprint is great i was a complete newbie started 6 weeks or more ago have now almost two sites built and have just started seo. i didnt even know how to get a domain name or hosting now im affiliates to them both and look fwd to making money soon. i wud suggest keeping things simple to start with , make sure your structure in your blog sites are right and organised and not too confusing and try to also put links behind your pictures as well as many people try to click those like i did. maybe also advertise some other products in a menu of say useful stuff or something like that, good luck

Probably the only free ones that you will find (that will be any good for what we do here, anyway) are the ones that come from your own pen.
I totally agree with you grady. Writing your own articles is free, you just need to research on your niche, gather information, visit other sites to get inspiration and ideas.

But I agree with Cecille that there's waaay too many pages. You really should cut down the number of pages.
Btw, why'd you close comments? It'll be nice to let your visitors comment, you can control whatever comments that can appear on your blog anyway.
Apart from these 2 issues, it seems good to go already. Content wise, your site seems unique enough to me. You should then start focusing on your SEO strategies and traffic generation. Keep it up your commendable effort! You're quite on track.
It's natural to feel lost when it comes to such things, especially for the vastly changing Internet. Given all the effort you've put in, it's really commendable!

New to Affiliorama.. Loving it. Going through all video tutorials
Going to get Traffic Travis Pro and Join Host Gator next week to start working on first site
Question. Clickbank Products vs Amazon
Amazon pays little commission, but have great products. I am wondering about clickbank products, Do they have physical products? Like exercise equipment etc. if not is there another affiliate organization that have such things but pays better than Amazon

ClickBank does not do physical products. I believe they only allow for physical products to supplement digital one (like a physical copy of an ebook, but that's not very common...).
Anyway, I would suggest checking out Commission Junction. Typical commissions for physical products there range from 5-15%, I believe.
Amazon can actually work pretty well if you promote higher-end products. You're not going to get rich promoting books that give you a $0.40 commission though :)
Hope this helps.
I did AffiloBlueprint for one year - http://www.journeyofmyown.com/welcome-affilorama-friends/
I made a product. Currently converting at 15.6% via webinar and paying $100 commissions - http://www.affilorama.com/forum/affiliate-programs-f30/affilorama-member-creates-own-product-15-conv-100-com-t13326.html

Thanks for the reply. I kinda figured that, but being a newbie the confirmation is really helpful and appreciated. I created a site on wordpress Link removed by moderator when I saw how awkward it was and difficult to edit and include codes to achieve goal I started going through all the affiliorama videos to try to learn and it has been great. going to get traffic travis pro and host gator next week to try to start working on a website. My plan is to incorporate both any advice would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to Affilorama! :)
I'm sorry, I had to remove your link because it was inaccessible. Could you please post the link to your website in your signature instead? To edit your signature, you can go to My Account > Edit at the top right hand side of the Affilorama page.
Going back to your inquiry, Clayton is right: go check out Commission Junction. They have a wide range of physical products and pay good commission. You can make good commissions on Amazon too by mixing in high-end products with the less expensive but popular ones.
Have you decided on a niche yet? If you haven't then better hold off on getting a domain and webhost. Make sure you've chosen a niche/sub-niche as well as a set of products to promote. Having these information will help you move along to choosing a good domain name as well, as a target keyword list.
Hope that helps. Have a good day!
