Royality Free Music? $60 for 2 minutes!

I would like to try out doing youtube videos but I don't know where to get the background music from. I've tried googling royality free music but I've come up with a 2 min music clips for $60. What the... is that about? Does anyone know where to get music that can be legally used as background music for a decent price? Maybe something like istock photo but for music?
