Hi Michael,

Your site looks great but I don't think it would help drive your sales if you have a sales page as your homepage. You might want to change your home page to one of your articles and then place CTA link on that article that will refer visitors to your sales page.

Create a free guide with the top dog training secrets and give it away to entice email signups. Create a good followup email series with additional tips and recommendations for further learning products (affiliate).

I suggest that you use a bigger font size or change the layout of your content. You could also place images to break up the large sections of text on your pages to make them more interesting. These will make it much easier for your visitors to read through your articles.

Placing your affiliate links above the fold will also help monetize your site.

Agree with michellerana - break the text up into smaller paragraphs, use bullet points, lists and sub headings. Imagine every visitor has 2 seconds on your homepage to click through, are they going to read large blocks of text? They need to get the idea in a very short space of time. I would also move banner ads into a right hand sidebar which will make them higher up on the page. If you run wordpress this can easily be accomplished by using widgets.

Listen I am not trying to be hurtful, but what kind of training have you had in affiliate marketing? How were you planning to get traffic to this site? I don't see it ever ranking for anything in the search engines or converting very well if any one ever did find it.

You have made a huge first step by building your first site, (I assume it is the first) but you will need some training to pursue Affiliate Marketing.

Have you considered Affilioblueprint?

Hi Michael,

It's been a while since you last posted here and I can see that you've made some changes to your site. However, it still looks the same to me. Your home page still points to your sales page which is a bit askew. You might want to switch your home page to your article page instead and cut those huge blocks of text with clickble images pointing to your sales page.

Also, I think your sales page would look much better with less ads on the sidebar and the bottom. This would render your sales page cleaner and more professional-looking with no banner ads to distract your visitors and take them away from your site.

Hi Michael,

Your site has improved a lot. It looks more professional now, with a cleaner layout. You might also want to place an opt-in box in your sidebar because the one at the end of your article is too far low on the page. Place some CTA links in between 2-3 paragraphs to give breaks to the articles as well as increase traffic to your review/product pages.
