82 freakin articles!

What was the secret to my 'success' I hear you ask?

1) Start your article marketing career at a time when the article directories are changing their TOS overnight. Usually while your articles are in the week long review process!

2) Do not try and write when sleep deprived - they do clamp down on silly spelling errors - but really, just because I spelled apologise/apologize both the English and American ways in one article did EZA really need to reject it and suggest that I may need a translator?

3) Get over it, stop caring and just keep writing!!

Off for that Champagne - It has been on ice for so long...... :o)

But i don't understand what do you mean by "with only 82" articles..
I have got 13 articles live and i am a platinum member, they made me a platinum member when i had 10 articles live.

Volkan, I think the approval process depends on the EZA representative. I had been a Platinum member as well since my 10th articles got approved. I heard that other people had more than 100 articles before they reached Platinum level.

I got platinum after 57 articles. I got dinged a few times for really minor things, like too many words in my anchor text and such.

Unfortunately, my account was registered under my pen name so I can't go to the post office and pick up my mug...

Clayton, you have a P.O. box and not a home address? EZA sent my mug direct to my house! Sorry to hear you didnt get your mug. It's my favorite one. It's the one I use every morning to drink my coffee. =)

No, I live in an apartment building and the mail man has to put my mail in a little metal box. I guess the mug didn't fit so they left a note saying that "Andrew Hunter" had a package to pick up at the post office. Oops...

Sometimes I think it might be worth it to start a new EZA account just for the mug :)

You can but take note that they dont always send a mug. Some people receive something else other than an EZA mug. =)

Yah, I got a mug and well... um... it was cracked. :^ It's nice mug too so I was bummed that I couldn't put me morning coffee in it. I think I got it after about 10 articles too.

hmmm I hit my platinum status and never got a mug. took me 11 articles to get platinum. after about 250 articles, i only have 2 rejected. One of those was a silly argument over duplicate content, which it wasn't.
