Hi guys,
Well, yesterday I decided to quit my "secure" full time job. So many things have happened over the last couple of months and I realised that I can't keep working full time.
I spent lots of hours working at this day job and donot give enough time to my IM business. I know what I want for my life and I believe IM is what I love.
So on 4th July i will relocate and start a whole new life in Perth, Western Australia. I have managed to get a part time role that is contract only and this should be able to pay for my bills and the like.
I will focus my energy on my IM business and will document this entire journey for everyone to see!
Cheers,
Zenji

Hi Zenji,
I think this is probably the best decision that you could make. With more time to spend on IM, better results are sure to be had. Throwing things to the wind so to speak is liberating and can only result in a better life for you.
Congrats!

I know you're not in the US, but I think it's a good omen that July 4th is "Independence Day" over here in the States :)
Good luck!
Good luck!

Hi Zenji,
Congrats! I know you've been wanting to do this for a while now and that job you had was super stressful on you. So...what a relief to accomplish your goal and quit. I quit last Sept. it has been super to be free of a job that was so boring to me. Plus, I don't have to go out in the heat, which in Redding, where I live, can get up to 110 degrees daily for an entire month. I happend to be a wimp in heat. Even 75 degrees bums me out.
One thing I want to share with everyone here is something you mentioned in a personal email to me. I think it's important for people to understand what it takes to really do well. As it IS possible. Here's a quote from a portion of the email Zenji sent me letting me know he quit his job...
"Well, ... all I have ever bought from gurus is the best spinner and senuke. I have followed your advise on avoiding guru hype. Am very thankful for that tip." This advice is not just by me, but many in this forum will agree that this is one key factor in obtaining success in this business.
If you are reading this and new, please follow in Zenji's path and stick to AB or whatever it is you are working on. Don't get distracted and you too can "quit" your jobs like we did. :)
Best Wishes,
Chrisi

I couldn't agree you more. This was exactly the problem I had before. Right now, I'm more focusing on one thing at a time. Your post remind me about few years ago. My English teacher from America asked me:"Do you know how you Chinese build the Great Wall?" at that moment I was thinking about some technical explanation like how people move the stones and bricks up there without modern tools. Then he said to me:"one brick at a time"
