Hi

Can someone tell me how to add another domain to hostgator? My current site is in the folder public_html

How do i create another foldrr to add another site, i think it has to be something like public_html/new sitebut i don't know how to create a folder like this or where to go in my c-panel to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Jake,
This one had me for ages too. I put my new site in add on domains, root directory is public_html.

Go to domains in your c panel then go to add ons.

Yes, if you just click 'add a new domain' it's really easy. Don't redirect it though.

As a newbie that is now creating my first Wordpress site through my first domain name within HostGator I would like to find out how to add a second domain name to my HostGator account?

Hi Larry

Adding a second domain name to your hostgator account is done through the control panel (cPanel -> Addon Domains).
