Breaking into CPA - receiving emails from Affiliate Managers
Hey Guys,
In light of the webinar about CPA marketing (which was very very good! It taught me so much on a subject I knew nothing about) I've applied to some CPA networks. The idea of it really interests me because the affiliate managers (AMs) make things more human. On my first night I signed up to 4 CPA networks just to try my luck. Within about 12 hours I received 2 e-mails from affiliate managers (pretty exciting). They were setting up a time to call me, which is a bit hard since I'm in Australia and most CPA networks are in U.S. I expect to hear from both tomorrow at my 9-5 job, as it will be Monday in the U.S. I've signed up to a few more tonight and I look forward to getting some response.
I've got a good idea of what to say, but once they say "yep you're approved for our network" I have no idea how things will move along. It's all very exciting as I've never done CPA but I'm looking forward to applying my strategies to a new market.
Cheers,
Suprah

Hi,
Do a search for Gauher Chaudry. I'm not sure of the exact link, but I know I downloaded information from him before. Also got the PPC Formula course, but that's another story.
He offers quite a bit of free information, a free report and stuff that could at least get you an idea of where you need to get started.

Most networks will call you shortly after you submit the application. In my experience they usually try to weed out spam by doing simple verification on the domains you submit under your application. I think the last aff manager asked me to prove that I owned the domain (screenshot or turn off privacy).
During your call with an aff manager, you don't want to lie to the guy, but let them know your are serious or at least have some idea of what you are going to promote. Build some rapport with your aff manager and they will give you invaluable info.
After that, they approve you. You get an email from your aff manager. You log in. You get your links. Do some work. Make some money!

Hi guys,
Re: elogic0007
The only call I've received is from Max Bounty, but I'm also with a few others now (they just e-mailed me). However I must admit I really like Max Bounty so far and I've been sticking with their offers.

I got into CPA Flash, Commission Monster and Adcanadian via e-mail, so give them a go.
