amazon products and widges

Hi, I'm new here, started building my website, learned alot from the lessons, I've made some affiliate from clickbank only, but I couldn't figure out how to make some from Amazon, I'm trying to add widges from amazon, I had the html link from amazon to put into my site, and added a Text in widges as some tutorial suggest is how to work, its this.

<iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=httpwwwchildm-20&o=1&p=10&l=bn1&mode=baby&browse=165796011&fc1=000000&lt1=_blank&lc1=3366FF&bg1=FFFFFF&f=ifr" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" width="120" height="450" border="0" frameborder="0" style="border:none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>

I put that, but the Ad is not showing, am I doing it wrong? I've also tried to put products into posts from amazon, it doesn't work, what am i missing, thanks.

Ok, I found out what was causing the problem, its due to Adblock plugin thats running in my own browser, the Ads weren't showing in the side or even in the website due to that plugin disabling/hiding them, it's basically doing what it is supposed to do, hence they are Ads.

So if I open IE which doesn't have Adblocker, then I go to my website, I can see the ads just fine.

so if I had to ask another question it would be, how can I make an amazon marketing website that shows for everybody? I suspect that 70% to 80% of the visitors are using other browsers like Chrome or Firefox and are installing AdBlocker, how to overcome this problem, any suggestions?

Hi,

It's good to consider that some may be using ad blockers, 70-80%? highly unlikely, but I'm sure there is research that shows an accurate number.

Regardless...

Always use a mix of ad types, including text links, banners, but more importantly, give people a reason to click, show them the product, tell them what problems it solves and why it is a good solution for them. Email can go a long way to educate and turn visitors into buyers.
