We've had a few suggestions for a "glossary" to be added to the site, sooooooo...

What are the words/terms/concepts that have most befuddled you in this course? I'll get the ball rolling with a few pretty basic ones...

when i first started i didn't even know what a page title was just <title> I had no idea what it actually looked like but now i know its that thingy on the very very top and is the title of your page.

yeh link juice is an odd one, i wasnt sure it would be accepted into the standard seo vocabulary but it seems to have stuck! good addition!

I thought I lknew what it was and just read my Ezine newsletter and it's talking about anchor text in the body of the articles which I thought wasn't allowed, so now I'm wondering if anchor text is what I thought it was?

Oh and I just watched one of the webinars on the blog and they are talking about JV's. Got a vague Idea but seemed to have missed the explanation.

The Affilorama Affiliate Marketing Glossary is now up and running!

Just out of curiosity (because I have an idea to do something similar myself, but on a different topic), did you build the glossary with a database?

The glossary does run on a database, which is the best way to keep something like this organized, particularly when you're adding, editing or removing words.

Then you can use a front-end built on something like PHP to deliver the data in a presentable fashion.

I had been doing a similar idea a number of years ago (long hand) on basic computer terminology. One idea I had that I would have loved to have pulled off if I could have figured out how to it at the time was if I had a word in the site, it would link to the definition. Doing that by hand would be a pain, but if it could be done with a script...
