No Follow Anchor Text

My question is particularly with the seo gurus. Please help me to understand the actual weight for an anchor text having no follow link? Like if i will posted my keyword with the specific url in this forum, Do you think that no follow attribute would help my keyword to get some juice to gain a upward ranking in google search?

"No follow" means that no link juice will be passed to the site you're referring or link to so the no follow attribute will not help get your keyword link juice.

The anchor text does not have any weight if it is no follow. However, Google has started looking at relevance so it helps the page you're linking to if you're using anchor text relevant to it.

 I am glad to have you here. So you mean that Google only count the keyword with do follow attributes and leave the no follows. Only Do follow attribute helps the keywords to uplift in search terms whereas no follow do not.
If it is so then why the people do focus on no follow sites and how their keywords take good rankings in search results?

 Hi Daniel,

There was a time that search engines only counted the do-follow links, but these days, do follow or no follow doesn't have as much weight anymore. Most sites are no follow now anyway. Webmasters are doing this to prevent spam on their sites. So you'll find it difficult to find a site where you could build do-follow links.

I suggest you look at a site's rank and its relevance to your site instead of looking if you can build do follow links on them. Link building will be a bit more easier if you do.

 Nofollow links will only pass traffic to the link , nothing more than that. You will not get any backlink from it. Search engines does not give weightage to such links and only index dofollow links.
Nofollow links will not help you to improve your website keyword ranking and will only pass traffic. i would suggest you to not add more links on exact keywords. Try to focus on some user based search queries. Do not be technical about queries as normal user does not know those technical words or sentences that we use as keywords in our website.
If you get less dofollow links from quality websites then it will be helpful for you instead of hundred nofollow links that you have targeted.
