Banned from Facebook Ads

I tried to advertise on Facebook. Unfortunately Facebook has banned me from advertising & I don't know why exactly. They said they will not unban me from using FB Ad's. However I still can use my FB account.

Is there another way to advertise on Facebook? I was thinking to pay someone else to market my product on FB, but I don't know how that works.

Someone else told my to create a new FB account using a VPS & get a new credit card, however the accounts will have to be under the same profile name as my current account. Is that illegal?

Hi Peter,

I'm sorry to hear about that. So, you're not able to use Facebook Ads for advertising your site/products on Facebook, but as a Facebook user with a Facebook account, you can use Facebook ads to view advertisements? Is that what you mean?

I did a quick search online apparently Facebook is in the habit of banning accounts either for suspected fraudulent activities, or for running "abusive" ads. Your ads were banned for either of these two reasons, and anything in between. Based on my quick research, they're not in the habit of responding to inquiries confirming the reason your ad campaign was banned, but still, try and send them an email and let them know how you can correct the error and get your Facebook Ads account reinstated.

If you don't hear back from them, or you did and they said "no", then the next best thing is to create a page for your site/product and invite people to like your page. Long-winded and time consuming, but this is still a free form of advertising for your site.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Yeah before joining any platform and running any ads be sure to read/learn the rules and guidelines or bad things can happen.

Hey guys, here's an update. So I sent them an email couple of days ago. I explained to them in detail what must have happened. Today I got a reply from them & they have activated my ad's account!
I'll certainly be reading the FB guidelines "thoroughly" which Andrew posted he link to. Hoping to make some profits this month :) Thanks for the help Cecil & Andrew!

Yes I did get banned. But after explaining to them, FB has enabled my FB ad's account again :)
