Wondering what’s inside the Affilorama members’ area?
Hi everyone!
I’ve decided to do a video blog this week, firstly to get some feedback from you guys on this medium in general — Do you like the video blogs? Are they groovy? Are written blogs groovier? If this one goes down well then we might try making video blogs more regularly.
The other reason is that I thought it would be nice to show people what lies beyond the Affilorama login box. I know there are a lot of people reading this blog who aren’t Affilorama members yet, so it’s a chance for you to see exactly what is inside the Affilorama members area so you know what it’s all about.
So if you’ve been thinking about signing up for Affilorama and checking it out… here’s your chance to peek inside without laying any money down first. Plus if you haven’t yet signed up for the 6-part mini course, this might be your first opportunity to hear me speak! I’ve been told I have a distinctive style… you be the judge!
Watch the video (opens in a new window)
To summarize the key points of the video: You get the following:
- The original Affilorama course, taking you from beginner stuff (getting started with web design) to more advanced topics like outsourcing and tweaking your Adsense sites.
- We’ve got a 90 day roadmap taking you step-by-step through the process of building a revenue-generating website in 90 days. Once members have gone through the original Affilorama course, this is a very useful series of videos to watch to see how everything can piece in together.
- Video lessons for each topic (much like this video blog). Videos are available for Windows Media Player or Quicktime, broadband and dialup versions, and usually they’re available to either stream (watch in your browser) or download (and watch later).
- New lessons, and videos are being added all the time. You can see a few new ones in the video. Often the new lessons are developed based on what our members are asking for in the forum.
- Bonuses, like our Traffic Travis software and interviews with internet-marketing gurus.
- Accompanying notes and written resources — print these out and keep them on hand for quick reference.
- The Affilorama forum. This is such a useful thing for Affilorama members, I’m so proud about how it’s growing. We’ve got some really good people in here who are happy to chip in with advice or an opinion if you ever get stuck. My staff and I also spend quite a bit of time on the forum answering questions.
Site critiques. Affilorama members can submit their site to be reviewed in the forum. Sometimes I do video critiques for these, other times it’s more useful to do a written review. In any case, it’s really useful for members to see what other members are doing and to learn from the feedback I give.
- The Affilorama affiliate program. Once you become an Affilorama member you’re given a code that allows you to sign up for the Affilorama affiliate program. Only members can become our affiliates — we do this to protect our affiliates from commission hijacking.
And (as always) much, much more. Hopefully that gives you guys who aren’t members yet a good idea of what I’m getting up to when I’m not writing blog posts or getting married
If anyone has any questions, feel free to hit me with them here, and definitely give me your opinion on the whole video blog idea.
And if, by chance, you’ve been convinced to join me and the other charming, good-looking, snappy-dressing individuals in the Affilorama members’ area, here’s the link .
Take care guys, it’s a holiday here tomorrow, so have a good weekend too!
Mark
