At night it is one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen anywhere. It is one of my most favorite places in what is definitely my most favorite city in the world. If fact, I like this spot so much it is where I purposed to my wife one beautiful night. Yes, in front of everyone, I got down on one knee right there on what felt like the top of the world and asked her. She said no, but it was still great to be up there (just kidding). The Stratosphere Tower is the tallest freestanding tower in the country. From the observation decks you can see the entire Las Vegas valley. At night the lights from the Strip and Down Town create an incredibly beautiful view. I think one of the best times to be up there is right around sunset. If you are lucky you’ll be able to see a nice sunset and then watch all the lights begin to come on. The Stratosphere is located on the north end of the Strip. Hubby and I did that too and we're working on a very blissful 6 years! It's fun - you can get a marriage license 24 hours a day and have a big blowout when you get home without a year's worth of planning and thousands of dollars out of your pocket (my sister would kill me if she read this) :-) I think it would be incredibly romantic - plus the Little White Chapel where we got married allows you to do a live internet stream of it so we could all watch!!!
